Load stresses on running gear - Specification for the detection of wheel tread defects underneath moving train

Detection of tread defects on moving trains is an area currently undergoing constant development. Use of the B169 committee findings will make it possible to define the technical specifications required for such equipment. This document sets out the minimum specifications to be met, characteristics of components used to build the system and demands related to algorithmic processing.
