The digital revolution, climate change or the scarcity in both natural and financial resources are now considered key challenges to our societies and more especially, to all stakeholders in the transport domain. The Rail Operating Community (ROC) of railway operators and infrastructure managers must adapt to these emerging issues, providing its customers with reliable information and tailor-made services along their journey. However, these actors must also continue to invest and develop their unique expertise gained in maintaining the safety, security and efficiency in their daily operation of the network. Investing significantly in research and innovation, the ROC supports the necessary creativity to provide the best solutions to sustainable mobility and accompany the social and economic dynamism of tomorrow’s societies and territories.
