This IRS establishes an international sorting system with a standard numerical coding for the routing of international wagonload traffic.
It is made to all railway companies performing international traffic. It aims to speed up wagon cycle as well as to ease all activities related with the control of transport and data processing by applying a common system by all railways concerned.
