The sustainable mobility that we want

The More Trains Alliance brings together a global group of railway organisations who are passionate about the role that trains can play in decarbonising mobility. The alliance is an evolution of the UIC Global Railway Sustainability Taskforce and fundamentally believes that the only way to reach our climate goals is to have MoreTRAINS. The Alliance is coordinated by the International Union of Railways and Alstom, supported by SNCF, and works with a wide range of railway organisations and international associations including AMTRAK, Bolloré, Camrail, CER, Deutsche Bahn, Ethio-Djibouti Railways, FS Italiane, the International Energy Agency (IEA), East Japan Railway (JR East), Lineas, the London School of Economics (LSE), ÖBB, ONCF, the Rail Freight Forward Coalition, SNCB, SNTF, Tata Consultancy Services, and the International Association of Public Transport (UITP). The group has come together to tell others about the success stories in the transition to having more sustainable mobility and to promote further action.
