Railways and Sustainable Development - A global perspective

This brochure highlights the achievements that UIC members around the world have made in the field of sustainable development. The case studies and examples were submitted by many of the 50 members who have signed the UIC Declaration on Sustainable Mobility and Transport. The UIC Declaration is a public commitment to implementing sustainable development measures and to providing regular and transparent progress reports and is consistent with the United Nations Global Compact.
