Vertical elasticity of ballastless track

This document is established by track experts from UIC Project I/03/U/283 "Ballastless track" to give guidelines about vertical elasticity of track. It applies to ballastless tracks but can include references to ballased track to facilitate comprehension or numerical comparisons. As there is no European standard about vertical elasticity of track, this document aims to give a state of te art for ballastless track vertical elasticity and definition of different stiffness, which contribute to vertical elasticity of track and are used in calculation or specification of components.
